Commission Cost
All personal commissions are negotiated on an individual
basis. Each painting is very unique and requires different
elements and details to combine an overall price.
The price is $5.00 per square inch of total canvas. For
example, a 24 x 30 canvas is $3,600. The cost may vary
somewhat due to multiple people, compositional detail and
travel expense. All material expenses are included in the
per square inch price. I use only the finest of oils and
linen canvas. A deposit of half the agreed total price is
to be paid at the beginning of each commission. My goal
with each original painting is to give my client a
treasured piece of art, for their family and their
family’s generations that follow. I try to
incorporate as many family heirlooms or sentimental items
in the portraits as possible to really personalize your
portrait.
