This studio was converted
behind our house from our existing detached garage. I
kept the original shape and roofline to blend with the
architecture of our home and our neighborhood.
Other than the
squirrels chasing each other on the roof, the studio is a
quiet and peaceful space to work. I have been so very
blessed with being able to work in my backyard.
The studio is a
small space measuring 18 x 18 with a 4 x 8 bump out on the
north wall to accommodate the north windows and
skylight. The studio space also doubles as a
guesthouse as we have a small 3/4 bath attached to the
north wall as well.
The studio is small
but extremely functional and I am able to paint from
natural light almost 100% of the time.
